Electronics Technology

Institutional Information
Our program was established in 1987. In 1992, it was included in the scope of the YÖK-World Bank Second Industrial Education Project. As part of this project, three fully equipped laboratories, each with a capacity of 30 people, were established, and the program faculty members received training abroad in their fields. Evening education was offered in our program starting in the 1997-1998 academic year.

Established to train qualified technical personnel needed by Turkish industry, our program continuously updates its curriculum in line with developing technologies. In 2000, a joint study was conducted with the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and YÖK, and the curriculum was revised to reflect evolving technologies. The program laboratories have all the design, testing, and manufacturing units needed for industrial electronics applications. Since 2010, it has been providing education under the title of Electronics Technology Program, part of the Electronics and Automation Department within the scope of İKMEP. The Evening Education program, which opened in the 1997-1998 academic year, has been closed since 2018. Currently, only Formal Education is offered.
